Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and VybeTech Labs LLC (“VybeTech Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the CodeBlips application, related course content, and the website at codeblips.com (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

CodeBlips is designed for people age 13 and older. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the Services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

2. Personal-use license

Subject to these Terms and any applicable app-store terms, VybeTech Labs grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-commercial license to install and use CodeBlips and access its course content on devices you own or control.

The license does not transfer ownership. Except where applicable law does not permit a restriction, you may not copy or redistribute substantial course content, sell or sublicense the Services, remove proprietary notices, bypass purchase controls, or reverse engineer the app. Lawful interoperability, security research, and other rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

3. Intellectual property

The CodeBlips app, website, curriculum, lessons, exercises, projects, graphics, code examples, design, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to VybeTech Labs and are protected by intellectual-property laws. “CodeBlips,” its wordmark, and the CodeBlips shield are marks of VybeTech Labs LLC. No registered-trademark symbol is claimed on this site.

You retain ownership of original notes or other material you write while learning. The app stores that learner material locally and does not require you to grant VybeTech Labs a license to it.

4. Purchases, prices, and refunds

Python Foundations is free forever. Other courses may provide a free learning portion and an optional one-time unlock. CodeBlips Complete may unlock all bundled courses with one purchase. Prices shown before publication are planned launch prices only; the store's localized product page is authoritative.

Google Play or Apple's App Store processes transactions under its own terms. We do not collect payment-card details. Refund eligibility and processing follow the applicable store policy, VybeTech Labs' responsibilities as a developer, and applicable law. Start a refund request through the store when its process applies, or contact info@vybetechlabs.io if an unlock is missing or you need purchase support.

When a refund or purchase reversal removes store ownership, access to the associated paid content may also be removed. Local progress is handled separately and is not sold.

5. Educational purpose and content accuracy

CodeBlips provides educational content and practice. It does not guarantee a certification, employment, admission, income, professional qualification, or any particular learning outcome. Your results depend on many factors, including your time, practice, prior experience, and use of other resources.

We work to keep course material accurate and useful, but programming languages, frameworks, tools, and accepted practices change. Examples may be simplified for teaching. You should confirm critical technical, security, legal, financial, or production decisions with current authoritative sources and qualified professionals.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to violate law, infringe another person's rights, interfere with the app or site, defeat access controls, distribute malware, misrepresent ownership of CodeBlips materials, or use automated methods to copy substantial course content. You may link to public pages and quote limited portions when permitted by law and accompanied by appropriate attribution.

7. Privacy and local data

Our Privacy Policy describes how CodeBlips keeps learning data local and how this website is delivered. You are responsible for protecting your device and export passphrase and for keeping any portable progress export in a secure location. VybeTech Labs cannot recover a lost export passphrase or remotely restore learning data it never received.

8. Third-party stores and services

If you obtain CodeBlips through Google Play or Apple's App Store, the applicable store terms also govern your download and transaction. The stores are not responsible for CodeBlips support except as their own terms require. Nothing in these Terms limits rights the applicable store agreement gives you or any third-party-beneficiary rights that agreement requires.

Links may open a third-party website or app. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

9. Service changes and availability

We may improve, correct, add, or retire features and course material. We may also suspend distribution when necessary for security, legal compliance, store requirements, or protection of users. We will not intentionally erase local learning data merely because a course is unavailable, but device, operating-system, store, and backup behavior can affect access.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” VybeTech Labs disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, compatibility with every device, or that the Services will meet every learning goal.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those places, this section applies only to the extent permitted, and your non-waivable consumer rights remain in effect.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VybeTech Labs and its members, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill arising from the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VybeTech Labs' total liability for claims related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the CodeBlips product giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including any rights available under applicable consumer-protection law.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify VybeTech Labs against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services or infringement of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to claims caused by VybeTech Labs or where applicable consumer law does not permit it.

13. Termination

You may stop using CodeBlips at any time. We may terminate or suspend the license if you materially violate these Terms, subject to any notice or remedy period required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive—such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain effective after termination.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections in the place where you live remain unaffected.

15. Changes, severability, and entire agreement

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, store requirements, or law. We will post the revised version at this URL and update the date above. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.

If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable store terms form the entire agreement concerning your use of the Services unless a separate written agreement applies.
